Laura is my older sister and one of my best friends. When Zeke proposed to me, Laura was the only one who knew about it! She staked out for hours to get sneaky photos of the proposal. We've always been close, and she's the best Maid of Honor a girl could ask for. Even though she photobombed this picture of us. I didn't even realize until I looked back at this photo later. That rat.

Richie Hurtado
Richie is my older brother and has been one of my biggest influences growing up. Often, I find myself getting into the same things he's into (music, making cocktails), and I wish I could be as excellent a communicator as Richie. Some of my favorite days throughout the year are days Richie visits from LA, and I'm thrilled to have him by my side on this day.

Yukta and I have been close friends ever since we met in 2012! We bonded fast over our mutual love of reading, something we still love to share with each other. We love to meet up for coffee and reading dates, but we usually end up talking the whole time instead. We've been picturing each other in each other's weddings since middle school, and now that dream is coming true!

Angel Alicea
Angel is my twin; not actually, but it's something we've been asked a lot growing up. As kids, we were rivals. As adults, we're now BFFs. Angel and I are so much on the same wavelength, you'd think we're psychic. I can make a reference to any TV show, movie, video game, comic book, and Angel would know exactly what I'm talking about. We have also never lost games like Taboo or Heads Up when we're paired up.

Sidney Sanchez
Sidney has been friends with Zeke since middle school, when they ate lunch together every day! I met Sidney when she came back to town to visit, and we've all been good friends ever since. We traveled to go see Sidney and Jack tie the knot, and now they're coming here to be with us! It's like gaining a bonus sister-in-law.

Ethan Acosta
Ethan is my younger brother and growing up with him was never boring. We are both competitive at heart, and it showed when we played basketball, ping pong, MLB The Show, Throw Throw Burrito, wrestling. I'm lucky to call him not only my sibling, but one of my closest friends.

Kate Aanerud
Kate was the first new friend I made in high school. I was pretty quiet and anxious, but Kate and I connected immediately over music, movies, and pumpkin pie. We had a few classes and lunch together, and stuck by each other's sides all through high school. We're long-distance friends now, but every time we talk, it's like no time has passed. She gives me good movies to watch and we play Animal Crossing together.

Jeff Cohen
Jeff is double-dutching as both officiant and father of the bride! Jeff and Susie were premarital counselors for their church for several years, and they've counseled Lily and me (unofficially) throughout our relationship and engagement. It just made sense to ask him to officiate.
